If you are in Truro and you go for coffee anywhere else other than this place you are doing yourself a disservice. This place is hyper local with lots of cool books, places to sit and most importantly it has great coffee.

Quaint little coffee shop and book store. Definitely would recommend for somebody wanting to take some down time with a coffee and snack. The barista was very friendly and the atmosphere inviting. We got a cafe Americano and an almond milk cappuccino. Both were very good and we'd definitely go back if we were in the area.

Cafe, bookstore, and shop all in one.  Good selection of used books and lots of cozy seats where you can figure out which book to get.  Many cool book-themed t-shirts, socks, and tote bags featuring art from The Wizard of Oz, Frankenstein, Animal Farm, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Harry Potter, and more.  They also sell their own tea blends inspired by Winnie the Pooh, Huckleberry Finn, and other books, as well as candles with scents like Sense and Sensibility, Old Bookshop, and Mad Hatter's Tea Party. And local pottery, photography, woodcrafts, plus coffee and tea apparatus.

They have yummy pastries, muffins, cookies, panini, and other light fare as well as various coffee and tea drinks.  Wish there was a place like this in my town!

Very disappointed to find my almost $7 mocha was over-steamed and burned the almond milk as well as my tongue on first sip. I didn't bother returning because the guy who made it seemed miffed that the one who took my order didn't correctly write down almond milk and had to remake it. A 'sorry about that' response vs. checking the bill and verifying I ordered almond milk with the other guy like I just told you would have been much more appreciated... well, that and not burning my drink. Suggestion - use a thermometer.

You have to stop here while in Truro. Wonderful beverages in a bookstore  with art! Great people and comfortable seating. They do it right!
